12 Black women, 9 days in Zanzibar and an overwhelming sense of community, joy, and love that neither words nor numbers can fully describe. The depth, the vulnerability, the connection, the sisterhood, the tears, the LOVE ~ there are no words. It has been the deepest privilege and honour to share our vision with these ladies. As always, we create the space, but the women make it ~ and we have left transformed. Can’t wait to nurture this community in the UK, and return to Zanzibar for our third retreat to do it all over again in 2026 🥹🩵💚🖤

How would you explain your experience on the retreat?
"It was transformative, I was able to explore parts of myself that I haven’t for a long time and sit in the vulnerability of doing that with Women I hardly knew but there was such safety, gentleness and care throughout that process. The retreat encouraged community, healing and joy - I felt so many emotions throughout the retreat but all were necessary. I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and came along because I got so much more out of the experience than I imagined"
How would you explain your experience on the retreat?
"It's very hard to wrap it up into words as it was truly a great experience, one that I will never forget. I learnt SO much more about myself. Also, all the girls on the trip were amazing; it wouldn't be the same trip without any one of them. I had so much fun, but also I felt so at peace on this trip and enjoyed all of the workshops (these were so thought out and purposeful to mention). I now have tools I can take away with me and implement in my life going forward that I know will be of service to me. and I mean Zanzibar itself... it it is a beautiful please and it will forever have my heart"
